Originating in England during the 1950s, this cat breed is distinguished by its large ears, slender tail, and foreign wedge-shaped head. The Cornish Rex is extremely playful, full of energy, and are very affectionate towards their owners. They enjoy attention, are intelligent, and relatively independent. These very social cats are alert, warm, and easy to handle. They get along with children and other household pets, and grooming is very minimal. Ideal companions are families with children, other pets, and those who want an active, ever-present feline companion.
