Also known as the Don Sphynx or Don Hairless, the Donskoy cat breed originated in Russia during the 1980s. These hairless cats are not always born hairless; some in the litter may have no fur, and some may have little fur. These medium-sized, muscular, large-eared cats are intelligent, playful, and affectionate. These loyal cats are very lively and enjoy playing. They get along great with children and other pets and are always performing as entertainers. They are ideal companions for families with children and pets and active households. Grooming is minimal.
